Parker Extends Precise Medical Seal Capability; Acquires Hi-Tech Group Companies
CLEVELAND, April 4, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Parker Hannifin Corporation (NYSE: PH), the global leader in motion and control technologies, today announced that it has acquired all of the issued and outstanding shares of the capital stock of HTR Holding Corp. and its subsidiaries, including Hi- Tech Rubber, Inc., Inland Technologies, Inc., Ventrex, Inc. and Accusil, Inc. The acquired companies operate under their own names and under the trade names Hi-Tech Group, A.C. Hoffman Engineering and Infinity Plastics. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. HTR Holding Corp. sales for its fiscal year ended December 31, 2007, on a consolidated basis, were approximately $93 million. Our focus is to provide a "single source"
package of medical device contract manufacturing
services. We offer certified class 10,000 clean
room assembly as well as controlled environment
and non-clean room assembly and testing. We
have tight tolerance clean room medical injection
molding and mold making capabilities. Our machine
shop is staffed with highly skilled prototype
machinists. The company has in-house resources
to assist customers with part design for manufacturability.
Through a stategic alliance we also offer complete
printed circuit board assembly including through
hole and surface mount employing state-of-the-art
equipment. We coordinate product sterilization
through contractors utilizing Gamma and Electron
Beam irradiation as well as Ethylene Oxide gas
processes.
As an adjunct to our medical device contract
manufacturing services we also design and fabricate
specialized equipment used in the assembly of
medical devices, in-vitro diagnostics and optical
components. We offer a line of solvent and ultraviolet
curing adhesive dispensers and liquid filled
UV light guides used for bonding plastic and
metal components together. We can produce highly
customized versions of this equipment for unique
applications.

These products
range from relatively simple tubing sets to
more complicated bio-sensors to ultra-precision
devices comprised of plastics, metals, electronics,
